Christopher Marianetti<\/strong>, is a composer and educator from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Chris co-founded and co-runs Found Sound Nation, a collective of artists who who use music to inspire and build community. He is a co-director of OneBeat, a music diplomacy initiative, now in its sixth year in partnership with the US State Department\u2019s ECA, bringing together musicians, social entrepreneurs, and artistic innovators from around the world. His works and installations have been presented at the MATA Festival, Lucerne Festival, Gaudeamus, International Symposium on Electronic Art, Merkin Concert Hall, MASS MoCA, among others. With Found Sound Nation, Chris has led music labs in South Africa, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Zimbabwe, Italy, and Switzerland, and served as a teaching artist with the Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall, running composition & production workshops with incarcerated youth in New York City. Chris is a MacDowell Colony Fellow, and a PopTech Social Innovation Fellows.
