With a limited mobile setup  the studio invites passers-by to participate in a collaborative recording session. Afterwards, these sessions are produced into sets of songs and shared with all who participated. A sonic collective unconscious of a particular time and place.<\/p>\n<p>The Street Studio was first implemented the 2011 Lucerne Festival in Switzerland with Found Sound Nation.  Since 2011 we&#8217;ve put studios on the streets of Brooklyn, the Bronx, Rufisque (Senegal), Camden (Maine), and in collaboration with festivals around the world, including: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bigearsfestival.com\/\">Big Ears Music Festival<\/a> in Knoxville, <a href=\"http:\/\/lcoutofdoors.org\/\">Lincoln Center Out of Doors<\/a> in New York, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lucernefestival.ch\/en\/\">Lucerne Festival<\/a> in Switzerland, <a href=\"http:\/\/bangonacan.org\/bang_on_a_can_marathon\">the Bang on a Can Marathon<\/a> in New York, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baychamberconcerts.org\/\">Bay Chamber Concerts<\/a> in Maine.
